How to Schedule Automated Email Reports for Sub-Accounts

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Report Scheduler delivers performance dashboard summaries to sub-account admins and users on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. Configure it from the agency view by selecting dashboards, frequency, time, and recipients per sub-account.

Report Scheduler in Sparkforge sends performance dashboards to sub-account stakeholders on a recurring schedule. Instead of logging in to check metrics, recipients get a single email with the dashboards you select. Agency-level scheduling controls require the $497/month plan or higher; sub-account users can manage their local schedules without it.

What the Report Includes

Each scheduled email pulls from these dashboards:

  • Users
  • Contacts
  • Outreach
  • Submissions
  • SMS
  • Appointments
  • Deal Overview
  • Email
  • Tasks Overdue
  • Conversations (Unread + Missed)

Schedule a Report

  1. Click your account switcher and choose Switch to Agency View.
  2. Open Sub-Accounts in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Reports next to the sub-account you want to configure.
  4. Click Edit Schedule to open the existing setup or start a new one.
  5. Select the dashboards to include by checking the boxes on each card, or use Select all.
  6. Click Next in the upper right.
  7. Enter the email subject line.
  8. Choose Frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  9. Set the Next schedule date — this also locks the recurring weekday or day-of-month.
  10. Pick a delivery time. Reports send in the sub-account's timezone.
  11. Add recipients in the Recipients field, separating multiple addresses with a comma and space.
  12. Optionally add an address to Test email and click Send test to preview.

Frequency Logic

  • Daily — sends every day at the configured time.
  • Weekly — sends on the same weekday as the start date.
  • Monthly — sends on the same calendar day as the start date.

Pause or Resume a Schedule

Use the Pause/Resume button on the Reports screen. A pause icon means the schedule is active — click to stop. A play icon means it's paused — click to resume. The schedule stays configured either way.

Verify Delivery

Scroll to the bottom of the Reports screen to see the delivery log, including which addresses received the report. Use this to confirm successful sends and spot configuration issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send different reports to different sub-accounts?
Yes. Each sub-account has its own schedule, dashboard selection, and recipient list.
How do I add multiple report recipients?
Type each email address into the Recipients field, separated by a comma and a space.
Do recipients need special permissions?
Sub-account admins receive scheduled reports automatically. Additional recipients added by email do not need any specific permission.
What happens when I pause a report?
No emails go out until you resume the schedule. The configuration is preserved.
Can I customize which metrics appear in the report?
No. The report uses a fixed set of dashboards. You choose which dashboards to include but cannot edit the metrics inside each one.
