How to Install Agency Marketplace Apps in Sparkforge
The Sparkforge App Marketplace lets agency owners and admins install apps at the agency level or push them to subaccounts. Distribution type (Agency vs Agency & Subaccount) controls who can install and where billing lands.
The Sparkforge App Marketplace is where you search, review, and install third-party and Sparkforge-built apps that extend the platform. Only agency owners or admins with the right permissions can install apps. Agency-level marketplace access is included on Freelancer and Agency Pro plans.
Find an App
- Click App Marketplace in the left menu.
- Use the search bar or browse by category in the left sidebar.
- Click any app to open its detail page.
App Collections
Curated lists help you find what you need fast: Top Installed, Newly Added, Top Free, Top Paid, Custom Experience Hub (JS/CSS scripts), Workflow Automation Hub (custom triggers/actions), and Conversation Hub (custom conversation providers).
What's on an App Detail Page
- App name, tagline, description, and images
- Category, version, and provider
- Distribution type (Agency or Agency & Subaccount)
- Pricing: free or paid, plus the plans supported
- Features and plugins included (custom conversation providers, workflow actions, etc.)
- Permission details — review carefully before granting access
- Provider resource links
Third-party apps are supported by their providers. Apps built by Sparkforge are supported by Sparkforge directly.
Install a Free App (Agency Distribution)
Agency-only apps cannot be installed by subaccounts.
- On the listing page, click Install App in the top-right corner.
- Review the details and click Allow & Install.
- Complete the provider's connection flow (login, permissions).
- If you see Uninstall instead of Install, the app is already connected.
Install a Paid App (Agency Distribution)
Payment runs either inside Sparkforge or on the provider's external page, depending on what the provider chose.
- Click Install in the top-right corner.
- Review pricing and click Allow & Install.
- Pick a plan and click Confirm.
- Your agency card on file is charged and the install completes.
If payment is external, you'll be redirected to the provider's page. After payment, you return to the marketplace with the app marked Installed.
Distribution Types
Agency
Installable only at the agency level. Subaccounts cannot install these.
Agency & Subaccount
Installable at both levels, but the install must start from the agency. During install, pick which subaccounts get the app. By default it's also installed at the agency.
Install at Agency & Subaccount Level
For free Agency & Subaccount apps, click install, choose all or specific subaccounts, then complete the flow. Subaccounts find their installed apps under the Installed tab in their own marketplace.
For paid Agency & Subaccount apps where billing is inside Sparkforge, each selected subaccount is charged on its own card. Subaccounts without a card on file are skipped — you can ask them to add a card and retry.
If you select 10 subaccounts but only 5 have cards on file, the install runs for those 5. The other 5 are skipped until they add payment details.
Uninstall an App
- Open App Marketplace.
- Go to Installed Apps.
- Click the app you want to remove.
- Click Uninstall in the top-right corner.
- For Agency & Subaccount apps, choose whether to uninstall at the agency level or for specific subaccounts.
- Confirm in the dialog.
