How to Use Advanced Filters for Custom Objects

Advanced Filters let you narrow Custom Object records by any default or custom field, with AND/OR grouping for complex queries.

Advanced Filters give you fine-grained search across Custom Object records, including custom fields you have defined yourself.

Open the Advanced Filters panel

From the Custom Objects page, click Advanced Filters in the top right.

Pick the fields to filter on

  • Use the search bar to find a field quickly.
  • Expand categories (for example Other Details, Car Info, Price) to browse fields.
  • Both default and custom fields are filterable.

Combine filters with AND or OR

  • AND: Record must satisfy every condition.
  • OR: Record must satisfy at least one condition.
  • Group filters to mix AND and OR for more complex queries.
  • Drag filters in the panel to set the order, which controls how grouping evaluates.

Apply or reset

Click Apply to run the filter. Deselect a single field to remove that condition, or click Reset to clear everything.
