How to Add the Blog Post Element to a Funnel or Website in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Blog Post element drops published blog content into any funnel step or website page in Sparkforge. Sort by recent, category, or author and configure pagination, button styling, and display.

Drop blog content directly into a funnel step or website page instead of forcing visitors to leave for your blog. The Blog Post element pulls posts from a Sparkforge blog and renders them inline, with filtering and sorting controls.

What it's for

Use the Blog Post element to highlight recent articles, surface posts from a specific category, or feature work from one author. It's helpful for landing pages, resource pages, and SEO pages that benefit from supporting content right on the page.

You need a blog set up in Sparkforge with at least one published post for the element to display anything.

How to add the Blog Post element

  1. Go to Sites and open Funnels or Websites.
  2. Pick the funnel step or website page you want and click Edit.
  3. Click Add Elements.
  4. Drag the Blog Posts element where you want it on the page.
  5. Click the element to open its settings.

Settings to configure

  • Display Style — how the block looks on the page.
  • Choose Blog Site — the blog the content comes from.
  • Sort By — Recent Posts, Recent Posts by Category, or Recent Posts by Author.
  • Choose Categories — limit the feed to specific categories.
  • Pagination — how many posts to show.
  • Button Options — text and colors for the read-more button.

Save and publish to push the changes live.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why aren't any posts showing up after I added the element?
Confirm your blog exists, has at least one published post, and that the category or author filter you picked matches an actual post. Drafts and unpublished posts won't appear.
Can I use this to build a content-driven landing page?
Yes. Drop the element onto a landing or resource page to surface relevant articles before the conversion ask. It supports SEO and gives skeptical visitors more to chew on.
Can I show posts from more than one blog?
Each Blog Post element points at a single blog. Add multiple Blog Post elements on the same page if you need to feature content from different blogs.
