A2P 10DLC Standard Brand Registration in Sparkforge
To send A2P SMS in the U.S., you have to register your brand with The Campaign Registry. Standard Brand registration uses your EIN and gets you higher throughput and broader use cases than Sole Proprietor.
U.S. carriers require every business sending A2P (application-to-person) SMS over 10DLC numbers to register their brand. Standard Brand registration is for businesses with a valid EIN — LLCs, corporations, and most companies with more than one employee. It allows higher throughput and more campaign use cases than the Sole Proprietor track.
Why Register as a Standard Brand
- Higher daily message throughput than Sole Proprietor.
- Required for LLCs, corporations, and most U.S. businesses.
- EIN verification raises your trust score.
- Access to a broader set of campaign use cases.
- Lower carrier filtering and lower rejection rates.
What You'll Need
- Business legal name (must match IRS records exactly).
- EIN (U.S. only).
- Business type — LLC, Corporation, etc.
- Business industry.

- Debt relief, debt consolidation, and debt forgiveness — banned even for first-party messaging.
- Lead generation and marketing aimed at acquiring new leads — bought lists, shared databases, or unclear opt-in are not allowed.
- Lending and investment promotional content — these brands can only send transactional notifications.
- Websites that mention sharing data with affiliates or third parties.
Avoid deceptive advertising
Your website cannot include false product claims, missing disclosures, misleading information, hidden fine print, or unverified comparison claims.
Register a Standard Brand
- From your sub-account, open Settings → Phone System → Trust Center.
- On the A2P Messaging (SMS) tab, click Start Registration.
- Pick United States or Canada when asked where the business is registered.
- Answer Yes when asked if the business has a tax ID. Your U.S. EIN is on the IRS CP 575 form.

- Submit and watch the Trust Center for status updates.
Common Rejection Reasons
- Business name doesn't match the IRS record exactly.
- EIN typos or transposed digits.
- Address mismatch between the registration and IRS records.
- Website missing privacy policy or opt-in language.
- Use case falls under a forbidden category.
