Voice Dictation in Sparkforge AI Builder and Assistant
Voice Dictation adds speech-to-text to the Workflow AI Builder and AI Assistant. Speak your workflow idea into the microphone and Sparkforge transcribes it and generates the automation in the canvas.
Voice Dictation adds speech-to-text to the Workflow AI Builder and the in-builder AI Assistant. Click the microphone, describe what you want to build or change, and Sparkforge processes the speech the same way it processes a typed prompt.
Why use voice input
- Hands-free ideation: capture automation ideas while multitasking without typing.
- Faster workflow creation: move from idea to structured workflow in seconds.
- Better accessibility: users with limited mobility or typing challenges can build workflows by voice.
- Multi-language support: dictate in any language Sparkforge AI prompts support.
- Seamless editing: generated workflows appear in the standard builder for review and refinement.
Voice in the AI Builder
The AI Builder generates complete workflows from natural language. With Voice Dictation, you can describe triggers, conditions, and actions out loud, and Sparkforge structures them into an automation draft on the canvas.
Use this when creating new workflows from scratch or rapidly prototyping logic. After transcription:
- The workflow appears in the builder.
- You can edit triggers, actions, delays, and conditions.
- You can keep refining with voice or typed prompts.
Voice in the AI Assistant
The AI Assistant inside the workflow canvas handles conversational edits and guidance. Voice Dictation lets you speak requests directly into the Assistant chat. Best for:
- Modifying an existing workflow
- Asking configuration questions
- Adding or adjusting steps incrementally
Examples:
- "Add a 2-hour delay after the form submission trigger."
- "Insert an SMS reminder before the appointment."
- "How do I apply a tag when a contact replies?"
