Sparkforge Billing: Wallets, Charges, and Rebilling Explained

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge runs on a subscription plan plus pay-as-you-use wallets for phone, email, AI, and other services. Agencies pay Sparkforge and can rebill clients at cost or with markup, depending on plan tier.

Sparkforge billing has two parts: a subscription tier that unlocks features, and pay-as-you-use wallets that fund add-on services like phone, email, and AI. This article walks through every charge type, every additional service, and how rebilling works.

Where to Manage Billing

Every charge to your account is visible in Agency View → Billing. You can manage your subscription, wallet thresholds, and payment methods, and break down charges by subaccount.

Subscription Plans

Sparkforge subscriptions come in tiers. Each tier unlocks more capabilities. You need an active subscription before you can use any of the additional services below.

Agency Wallets and Usage Billing

When you opt into add-on services (Phone, Email, AI), you fund an Agency Wallet. Wallets hold credits. Credits are deducted as you use the service. When the wallet drops below the minimum threshold, Sparkforge auto-recharges by charging your agency card on file.

You set both the minimum threshold and the recharge amount in Billing → Wallet & Transactions.

Why a wallet

You only pay for what you use. Most platforms force a fixed bundle (500 SMS for $40/month) whether you use them or not. The wallet model charges per actual SMS, email, or AI execution.

Sparkforge Phone System

Native phone and SMS inside the CRM — no Twilio account required.

  • Available on every plan
  • Rebilling without markup: Unlimited plan
  • Rebilling with markup: Agency Pro plan only

Pricing

Sparkforge Phone matches Twilio's per-region pricing. SMS, voice, and number registration costs vary by country. US/Canada accounts get a 10% discount on phone numbers, SMS, and voice.

Sparkforge Email

Email sending and receiving on every subaccount, no Mailgun integration needed.

  • Available on every plan
  • Rebilling without markup: Unlimited plan
  • Rebilling with markup: Agency Pro plan only
  • Pricing: $0.675 per 1,000 emails (vs $0.80/1,000 with Mailgun)

Email Verification

Checks whether an email address is deliverable before you send. $2.50 per 1,000 verifications (vs $12/1,000 with Mailgun). Available on every plan; rebilling on Unlimited or Pro.

Dedicated IP

$59/month per dedicated sending domain. Feature and rebilling on the Pro plan only.

Workflow Premium Triggers and Actions

Workflows fire on triggers and run actions. Most are free; some are premium at $0.01 per execution. Examples: ChatGPT actions and other AI calls have separate pricing.

Your agency is charged for premium executions across all subaccounts. You can rebill clients to recover the cost or earn margin.

Workflow Pro Plan

Volume tiers for premium executions:

TierMonthly PriceIncluded ExecutionsOverage Rate
Free$0100 free lifetime executions$0.01
Starter$1010,000$0.008
Growth$2530,000$0.006
Scale$5065,000$0.004

Agencies on the Pro plan can resell Workflow Pro to clients. Workflow Pro doesn't include ChatGPT or Workflow AI — those run on pay-as-you-go.

Online Listings

Pushes business info (address, hours, phone) to 70+ directories for SEO and consistency.

  • Monthly: $30
  • 6 months: $150
  • Yearly: $300

WordPress Hosting

Host and manage WordPress sites inside subaccounts. Set the agency plan in Agency → Reselling, then offer it to clients.

  • Standard: $10/mo for 1 site ($108/yr)
  • Utility: $220/mo for 25 sites ($2,496/yr)
  • Truly Unlimited: $497/mo for unlimited sites ($4,968/yr)

WhatsApp

$10/mo per subaccount for the integration. Conversation and template charges run on top, varying by country and use case.

Marketplace Services

Add-on services agencies and clients can purchase: Basic and Advanced Account Setup, Priority Support, white-labeled mobile apps, Eliza, HIPAA Compliance. Pricing is in-app under Agency View → Marketplace.

Branded Client Portal Mobile App

Clients with communities can buy their own branded mobile app. Sparkforge charges $49/mo to the agency. Resell at any price you choose — the difference is your profit.

Domain Purchases

Subaccounts can buy and manage domains directly. Pricing varies by TLD. Agencies on the Pro plan can rebill domain purchases with markup.

AI Employee

A suite of AI features:

  • Voice AI (phone agents)
  • Conversation AI (text agents)
  • Reviews AI (auto-responses)
  • Funnel & Website AI
  • Content AI
  • Workflow AI Assistant

Two pricing modes: per-unit and unlimited. Rebilling requires the Pro plan.

Address Autocomplete in Forms

Autocompletes addresses via Google's API in Forms and Surveys.

  • $0.002972 per search request
  • $0.00525 per autofill on selection

Agencies on the Pro plan can rebill with markup.

Ad Manager

Create, manage, and analyze Facebook ad campaigns from inside Sparkforge. Free for all agencies — no platform or subscription fee. Agencies can still resell Ad Manager to subaccounts at any price.

What Rebilling Means

Rebilling is when an agency charges a subaccount for usage costs the agency was billed by Sparkforge. Sparkforge always bills the agency at the listed Sparkforge price; rebilling lets the agency recover those costs from the client.

  • Rebilling without markup: Unlimited plan. Recover costs at the Sparkforge price.
  • Rebilling with markup: Agency Pro plan only. Set your own client-facing price; the agency keeps the difference. This is part of SaaS Mode.

What Reselling Means

Reselling is offering a service to a subaccount as an add-on. Resellable services include Workflow Pro, Branded Client Portal App, AI Employee Unlimited, Yext Online Listings, WordPress Hosting, WhatsApp, Dedicated IP, and Ad Manager.

Configure reselling under Agency View → Reselling. The agency pays the Sparkforge price per subaccount; the agency sets the resell price (matching or higher).

SMS Segments

An SMS segment is the unit carriers use to count and charge for messages. Each SMS is broken into segments based on length. Longer messages cost more because they use more segments.

Are Unanswered Calls Charged?

Generally, no. If you call someone, they don't pick up, and you don't leave a voicemail, you typically aren't charged. Some restrictions apply based on call type and outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between rebilling and reselling?
Rebilling recovers usage charges (SMS, email, AI executions) from a subaccount. Reselling offers a whole service (WordPress, Workflow Pro, Branded App) to a subaccount as a paid add-on.
Can I mark up rebilled charges?
Yes, but only on the Agency Pro plan. The Unlimited plan allows rebilling at cost. Pro plan rebilling-with-markup is part of SaaS Mode.
Why does Sparkforge use wallets instead of monthly bundles?
Wallets charge for actual usage. Bundles force you to pay for capacity you may not use. With wallets, low-usage months cost less; high-usage months scale up automatically.
How are SMS costs calculated?
By segment. Carriers split SMS into segments based on message length. Longer messages = more segments = higher cost. The pricing matches Twilio's per-region rates.
Do I get charged for unanswered phone calls?
Usually not. If the recipient doesn't pick up and you don't leave a voicemail, no charge. Some call types and outcomes have restrictions.
