Set the Client Portal Language in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Admins can set a default language for the Client Portal under Memberships > Client Portal > Settings > Language Settings, and individual users can override it on web or mobile from their account settings. Twelve languages are supported, with English as the fallback.

The Sparkforge Client Portal and Child App support 12 languages on both web and mobile. Admins can set a portal-wide default; users can override it from their own account settings.

Why this matters

  • Non-English-speaking clients get a localized experience.
  • Admins control the default seen on the login page and across the portal.
  • Each user can still pick their own language on web or mobile.
  • If nothing is selected, the portal defaults to English.

Set the portal default (admin)

  1. Open Memberships > Client Portal > Settings > Language Settings.
  2. Pick a language from the dropdown.
  3. Click Save.

The chosen language now appears on the login page and across the portal for any user who has not set their own preference.

Change language on the web (user)

  1. Log into the Client Portal directly or via Memberships > Client Portal.
  2. Click your logo in the top right and select Manage your Account.
  3. Open Language Settings and pick your preferred language.

Change language on mobile

  1. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Language Settings.
  4. Pick the language and tap Save.
