Page View Triggers for Funnels and Websites in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Page View triggers fire workflows when a contact visits a Sparkforge funnel or website page. Filter by specific page paths or URLs and UTM parameters to trigger only on the visits that matter.

Page View triggers let you start a workflow when a contact visits a specific funnel or website page. Use them to follow up after a pricing page visit, drop someone into a campaign after they hit a landing page, or tag visitors who came from a specific UTM source.

Create a Page View trigger

Step 1: Open Workflows

Go to the Automation tab and create a new workflow.

Step 2: Add the Funnel/Website Pageview trigger

Pick Funnel/Website Pageview from the trigger list. The trigger fires when a known contact views a page on the selected funnel or website.

Step 3: Pick the funnel or website

Choose which funnel or site to monitor. You can select more than one if you want broad tracking.

Step 4: Filter by specific pages or URLs

By default the trigger fires on any page in the selected site. Add a filter to fire only on specific pages or URL patterns — a pricing page, a thank-you page, or a specific blog post.

Step 5: Filter by UTM parameters

Add UTM filters to fire the trigger only when the visit came from a specific campaign, source, or medium. Useful for ad-specific automations.

Common use cases

  • Send a follow-up SMS five minutes after a contact hits the pricing page.
  • Tag visitors who land from a specific Facebook ad UTM.
  • Move opportunities to a new stage when a contact views the proposal page.
  • Notify the sales rep when a hot prospect revisits the demo page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the trigger track visits across multiple funnels and websites?
Yes. You can select multiple funnels or websites in the same trigger to track visits across all of them with one workflow.
Can I trigger on a specific page URL?
Yes. Use the filter to specify a page or URL pattern instead of the entire funnel or site. Useful for high-value pages like pricing or proposals.
Does the trigger work for anonymous visitors?
No. The Pageview trigger fires when a known contact visits a tracked page. Anonymous visitors aren't matched to a contact record yet.
Can I filter by UTM parameters?
Yes. Add UTM filters to fire only when the visit came from a specific campaign, source, or medium — useful for ad-driven automation.
