Saved Sections in Sparkforge: Universal, Global, and Template
Saved Sections let you reuse content across Sparkforge Funnels, Websites, Webinars, and E-Commerce Stores. Universal syncs everywhere, Global syncs within one funnel, Template is a static copy. Section type is locked once saved.
Saved Sections let you build a content block once and reuse it across Funnels, Websites, Webinars, and E-Commerce Stores. There are three types, and each handles updates differently.
The Three Section Types
- Universal — saves at the account level. Edits sync across every instance, account-wide, in any asset type.
- Global — saves at the funnel level. Edits sync only within the current funnel or website.
- Template — saves as a static copy. Edits in one place don't affect copies elsewhere.
Section type is set at save time and cannot be changed later. To switch types, clone the section and save the clone as the new type.
How to Save a Section
- Open the page editor in your Funnel, Website, Webinar, or E-Commerce Store.
- Select the section you want to save.
- Click Save Section. The unified save modal opens.
- Pick a type — Universal, Global, or Template — and name the section.
- Click Save.
How to Insert a Saved Section
While editing another page, click Add Section and browse your saved Universal, Global, and Template sections. Pick one to insert it.
When to Use Each Type
- Use Universal for content that should stay identical everywhere — site-wide headers, footers, brand banners.
- Use Global for content unique to a single funnel or website that you reuse on multiple pages within it.
- Use Template for blocks you want to drop in and customize per page — case-study layouts, testimonial blocks.
How AI Page Revisions Work With Saved Sections
AI Page Revisions need a clear scope. If a page has Universal or Global sections, the AI respects the sync boundary so revisions don't unexpectedly change content elsewhere. Pick the right section type up front to avoid surprises.
Behavior Notes
- Cloned sections and snapshots get unique IDs, so edits to a copy never affect the original.
- Only layout information is stored — no contact or transactional data.
- Automated screenshots and labels make picking the right section faster.
