How to Accept Manual Payments on Sparkforge Forms and Surveys

Sparkforge supports manual payments — cash on delivery and custom offline methods — for products sold through forms and surveys. Orders land in Payments > Orders as Pending until you mark them paid.

If you sell products through Sparkforge forms or surveys, you can now collect payment offline and still keep the order in your dashboard. Manual payments cover cash on delivery and any custom method you define.

Available payment types

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): the customer pays in cash when the order arrives.
  • Custom Payment Methods: bank transfer, check, in-person card swipe, or any other offline option you set up.

How to enable manual payments

  1. Go to Payments > Integrations > Manual Payment Methods.
  2. Enable COD, Custom Payment Methods, or both.
  3. Set the description and post-purchase message for each one.
  4. Confirm the manual payment option is enabled for forms and surveys specifically.

What customers see

Once enabled, the manual payment option appears automatically when a contact adds a product to a form or survey at checkout.

Order processing

  1. The customer submits the form. The order shows up in Payments > Orders with a Pending status.
  2. When you collect the money, mark the order paid and pick the payment mode (cash, card, check, bank transfer, etc.).
  3. The Orders status syncs back to the matching record in Form Submissions.

When to use it

  • Field service, trades, and home-services businesses that take cash or check on site.
  • Local retailers running deposit forms.
  • B2B invoicing where bank transfer is the norm.

Where does a manual-payment order show up after submission?

Can I add a custom payment method like Zelle or Venmo?
Yes. Use Custom Payment Methods under Payments > Integrations and label it whatever you collect through (Zelle, Venmo, ACH, check, etc.).

They appear once you enable the option for forms and surveys in Manual Payment Methods. Any form with a product attached will then show manual payment as a checkout option.
Can I switch a manual order to paid in bulk?
Each order is marked paid individually inside the Orders dashboard so you can confirm payment mode per transaction.
