DNS Tips
Most registrars need an A record pointing to Sparkforge's IP and a CNAME for www. The exact values appear in the Connect Domain modal. Propagation can take up to 24 hours but usually finishes in minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start from a blank canvas instead of a template?
Yes. In the New Website flow, choose From Blank for full control. Templates are faster if you want a polished baseline.
Do I need to buy a domain through Sparkforge?
No. You can register elsewhere and point DNS to Sparkforge, or use the Sparkforge domain finder to register directly.
Can I host multiple websites on one Sparkforge account?
Yes. Add as many sites as you need. Each gets its own domain and editor.
What if DNS verification fails?
Double-check the A and CNAME values match exactly what Sparkforge shows. Wait 15-30 minutes for propagation, then retry Verify Records.
