Include Ad Campaigns in Sparkforge Snapshots

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Snapshots can include Meta and Google Ad campaigns so agencies can duplicate proven campaigns into new or existing sub-accounts. Lead Forms and audiences don't carry over because they're tied to the source Ad Account.

Agencies can save time onboarding new sub-accounts by snapshotting Ad campaigns from a high-performing source sub-account, then loading them into target sub-accounts as starter templates.

Steps to duplicate ad campaigns

1. Open Account Snapshots

From Agency View, go to Account Snapshots.

2. Create a new snapshot

Click Create New Snapshot. Name it and pick the source sub-account that holds the campaigns you want to share.

3. Generate the snapshot

Verify the asset list and click Create. The new snapshot appears in the list.

4. Pick the target sub-account

Either create a new sub-account to load into, or pick an existing one. Go to Sub-Accounts > pick the target > Basic Details tab > Actions dropdown > Load Snapshot.

5. Start the load

A 4-step dialog opens. Pick the snapshot you just created.

6. Select ad campaigns

From the asset list, find Ad Campaigns - Meta and Ad Campaigns - Google. Pick one or all. Click Proceed.

7. Resolve conflicts

If matching assets exist in the target, the dialog flags conflicts. Skip them or overwrite — your call.

8. Confirm and load

Confirm the selection. A bell-icon notification fires when the load finishes.

9. View loaded campaigns

In the target sub-account, the campaigns appear in Campaign Details after you finish onboarding (connect the Facebook account, Ad account, and Page).

What carries over and what doesn't

  • Loaded campaigns are created under the target sub-account's connected default Page. You can reassign to another Page after load.
  • Lead Forms, Custom Audiences, and Lookalike Audiences do not transfer. They're tied to the source Ad Account and Business Manager. Recreate them in the target, or use audiences attached to the target's connected Ad Account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my Lead Forms come over with the snapshot?
No. Lead Forms are tied to the source Ad Account and Business Manager. You'll need to recreate them or attach existing forms from the target's Ad Account after loading.
Can I overwrite an existing campaign in the target?
Yes. The conflict-resolution step in the load dialog lets you skip or overwrite each conflicting asset individually.
Which Page do loaded campaigns publish to?
They default to the target sub-account's connected default Facebook Page. You can change the Page assignment per campaign after the load finishes.
Do Google and Meta campaigns both work with snapshots?
Yes. Both Meta (Ad Campaigns - Meta) and Google (Ad Campaigns - Google) assets are snapshot-eligible.
