How to Enable and Resell Ad Manager in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Connect agency Stripe, enable Ad Manager in the SaaS Configurator addons, set resale pricing in the Reselling tab, and clients activate it from Marketing → Ad Manager. Agency cost is $0.

Ad Manager lets agencies offer and run ad campaigns for sub-accounts — Meta, Google, LinkedIn — from inside Sparkforge. The agency cost is $0; you set the resale price for clients.

What Ad Manager is

A reselling-focused tool for managing client ad campaigns from one console. It covers campaign creation, monitoring, and optimization. It does not include ad copy or creative design — those stay services your agency provides on top.

Prerequisites

  • Connect your Agency Stripe Account. Required for monthly subscription billing.
  • Once Stripe is connected, you can manage resale pricing and subscriptions from Reselling in Agency Settings.

Enable Ad Manager via the SaaS Configurator

  1. Go to Agency view → SaaS Configurator.
  2. Open an active SaaS plan and click Edit Details.
  3. Open the Addons tab and check the Ad Manager tile.
  4. Click Save.

Agency cost (You Pay) is fixed at $0.

Set resale pricing at the agency level

  1. Go to Agency view → Reselling.
  2. Find the Ad Manager card.
  3. Choose Yes (resell) or No.
  4. Enter the resale price in Your Price. Default is $0 (free for sub-accounts).
  5. Click Save.

This price applies to every sub-account unless you override it per client.

Customize pricing for a specific sub-account

  1. Go to Agency view → Sub-Accounts.
  2. Open the client and click Manage Client → Reselling.
  3. Scroll to Ad Manager.
  4. Set the custom Your Customers Pay amount.
  5. Save.

Important: if a client already has Ad Manager active, price changes only apply to new subscriptions. Once a client has subscribed at a given price, that rate is locked until the subscription is canceled and re-created.

Offer Ad Manager free to a specific client

  1. Open Agency view → Sub-Accounts → Manage Client → Reselling.
  2. Under Ad Manager, check Deploy Ad Manager Directly. This sets Your Customers Pay to $0.
  3. Save.

That sub-account gets instant Ad Manager access without a paywall.

Disable Ad Manager for a sub-account

  1. Go to Agency View → Sub-Accounts → Manage Client → Reselling.
  2. Toggle Ad Manager off.
  3. Save.

Once a client has already activated Ad Manager, it can't be disabled retroactively for that sub-account.

How clients activate Ad Manager

  1. The client signs into their sub-account.
  2. They go to Marketing → Ad Manager.
  3. They see one of two CTAs: Activate Ad Manager for $X/month if your resale price is greater than $0, or Get Started if the price is $0 (a one-time onboarding screen).

On activation, a Stripe subscription is created against your agency's Stripe account, and the client moves into the Ad Manager onboarding flow.

Billing notes

For agencies

  • Agencies pay $0 for Ad Manager.
  • You set resale pricing freely.
  • Existing sub-accounts on legacy Utility or Founder's plans keep their current plan cards — no auto-cancellations or billing changes.

For sub-accounts

  • Existing paying sub-accounts continue at their current rate.
  • New sub-accounts follow the resale price you set ($0 or custom).

To see what each sub-account is paying: Agency Settings → Billing → Ad Manager.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Ad Manager cost the agency?
Nothing. Agency cost is fixed at $0. Revenue comes from the resale price you charge sub-accounts.
Does Ad Manager include creative or copywriting?
No. It manages campaigns inside Sparkforge but doesn't create ad copy or design assets. That stays a service you offer.
Can I change a client's price after they subscribe?
Not on the existing subscription. The new price only applies once the client cancels and re-subscribes at the updated rate.
What's required before I can enable Ad Manager?
Your agency Stripe account must be connected. Stripe handles subscription billing for the resold service.
Can I revoke Ad Manager from a client who's already using it?
No. Once a client has activated Ad Manager, you can't disable it retroactively. The toggle prevents new activations only.
