How to Add a Two-Step Order Form to a Sparkforge Funnel

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

A Two-Step Order Form splits checkout into contact details (Step 1) and payment (Step 2) to reduce abandonment. Attach products to the funnel step first, then drop in the element and configure both steps.

A Two-Step Order Form splits checkout into two screens. Step 1 captures contact and shipping; Step 2 collects payment and confirms the order. The shorter first screen reduces friction and tends to lift completion rates.

What You Get

  • Higher completion. Two short forms beat one long form on conversion.
  • Field control. Hide, require, or relabel any field per step.
  • Cart mode. Buyers select items and quantities with a running total.
  • Order bumps. Offer add-ons at checkout.
  • Coupon codes. Apply discount codes inline.

Prerequisite: Attach Products to the Funnel Step

The form can’t charge for anything until products and prices are attached to the same funnel step. Create your products first, then:

  1. Open Sites → Funnels, pick your funnel, and select the checkout step.
  2. Open the Products tab on the right and click + Add Product.
  3. Pick a product from the dropdown (or create a new one inline).
  4. Pick or create a Price.
  5. Optional: use Product Name Override or Price Display Override to control how the item appears on the form.
  6. Open Additional options to allow multiple quantity, set max per order, and mark the item as Main or Bump.
  7. Repeat for every product the form should sell.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t my products show on the order form?
Products and at least one price must be attached in the Products tab on the same funnel step. Without that, the form has nothing to display or charge for.
How do I let customers buy more than one of an item?
Open the product in the funnel step’s Products tab, expand Additional options, enable Allow multiple quantity, and set Max per order.
Does the form support subscriptions and one-time products?
Yes. The form follows the price you attach — one-time, recurring, or split-pay are all supported.
Can I add a processing or platform fee?
Yes. Add fees under payment settings and they apply across orders. Useful for offsetting card processor costs.
Is the Two-Step form available in V1 funnels?
It works in V1, but cart mode and the latest settings are V2-only. Migrate the step to V2 if you want every option.
