How to Configure Sparkforge Notifications in a Sub-Account

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge user-level notification settings let you choose how each event type alerts you — web, desktop, email, mobile, or SMS. Configure preferences under My Profile > Notifications and route each category to the channel that fits your workflow.

Notification settings in Sparkforge let each user pick how they want to be alerted about messages, tasks, appointments, and reviews. Tune the channels per event type to cut noise and stop missing the things that matter.

Available delivery channels

  • Web app
  • Desktop
  • Email
  • Mobile app (iOS, Android)
  • SMS

Configure your preferences

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Open My Profile.
  3. Click the Notifications tab.
  4. For each notification type, pick the delivery channels (mix and match — for example, conversations to mobile, daily task summary to email).
  5. Click Save.

Notification titles and bodies deliver in your platform language when available, falling back to English.

Add a user to a sub-account

A user only receives notifications for sub-accounts they belong to. Users with "Assigned Data" permissions only also won't receive alerts on unassigned leads.

  1. Switch to Agency View from the account dropdown.
  2. Open Settings in the agency-level navigation.
  3. Click Team to see all users.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to the user.
  5. Click Roles & Permissions.
  6. Use Add sub-accounts to grant access.
  7. Optionally toggle Restrict Access to limit the user to only the sub-accounts you've selected.

After saving, the user can configure their preferences inside the sub-account at Settings > My Profile > Notifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Mark all as read do?
It flips every current notification from unread to read for the logged-in user. It doesn't delete the notifications — they stay accessible in the list.
Why am I getting duplicate notifications for the same message?
Multiple triggers are firing — for example, both "assigned to me" and "new message on assigned conversation." Open Notifications and disable the overlapping triggers.
What does Clear All do?
It removes every current notification from view permanently. Cleared notifications cannot be restored. New ones still arrive after.
Why am I not receiving notifications from a sub-account?
You aren't added to that sub-account, or your role has Assigned Data permissions only. Switch to Agency View, edit the user under Team, and grant sub-account access.
Can I get a daily summary instead of one alert per task?
Yes. Under Tasks, configure the daily summary at a chosen time and toggle off individual task alerts. You can also suppress the summary when there are zero tasks.
