How to Edit Agency System Email Templates in Sparkforge
Sparkforge agency accounts can replace the default Welcome, Password Reset, and Verification system emails with branded versions. Edit them under Agency Settings > System Emails and pick a template per sub-account.
Sparkforge lets agency accounts brand the system emails users receive — Welcome, Password Reset, and Verification. Swap the logo, change the CTA color, and rewrite the copy so the email matches the rest of your stack.
What you can change
- Welcome email sent on user creation.
- Password reset email sent when a user requests a reset link.
- Verification email sent to confirm an address.
- Logo and CTA button color across all three templates.
Step 1: Open System Email Settings
- From the agency dashboard, go to Agency Settings.
- Under the Settings section, click System Emails.
Step 2: Swap an existing template
- Find the template you want to change (Welcome, Password Reset, or Verification).
- Click Change Template.
- Pick the Subaccount the change applies to.
- Choose the folder path where the template lives.
- Select the template and click Change.
Validation and fallback
If the template you select has send-blocking errors, Sparkforge automatically falls back to the default system template so the email still goes out. Fix the broken template and future sends will use your branded version again.
Step 3: Build a new template (optional)
- Go to Email Marketing > Templates.
- Click Create New Template, then choose System Templates.
- Pick the system email type (Welcome, Reset, Verification).
- Design it with your text, images, and brand elements.
Step 4: Set logo and CTA colors
- Open the template editor and click Settings.
- Upload your brand logo.
- Adjust the CTA button color.
- Save.
Tip: Custom values
If your branding or merge fields aren't rendering, check that the template uses supported custom values. Invalid fields trigger the fallback to the default template.
