How to Delete Schema Markup in Sparkforge Funnels and Websites

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge lets you delete individual or all schema markup from a Funnel or Website page using Form View, JSON View, or AI chat. Use version history to restore deleted schema if needed.

Schema markup deletion in Sparkforge removes outdated or incorrect JSON-LD structured data from a page in the Website or Funnel Builder. Use it to keep your SEO signals accurate when schemas change, become irrelevant, or were configured incorrectly.

Sparkforge supports three deletion methods plus version history recovery. All methods work across both the Website Builder and Funnel Builder.

Delete schemas in Form View

Form View is the visual interface for managing schemas without touching raw JSON.

  1. Go to Sites and open the Website or Funnel Builder.
  2. Click Edit Page.
  3. Navigate to SEO & AI search optimization → Schema Markup.
  4. Open the schema editor in Form View.
  5. In the left panel, find the schema, click the three-dot menu, and choose Delete.
  6. Click Yes, Delete on the confirmation popup.

To delete every schema on the page: remove all schemas from the list, click Validate & Save, confirm the "Delete all schema markup?" prompt, and click Yes, Delete.

Delete schemas in JSON View

JSON View is for direct edits to the raw JSON-LD code.

  1. Open the page in the Website or Funnel Builder and click Edit Page.
  2. Navigate to SEO & AI search optimization → Schema Markup.
  3. Open the schema editor and switch to JSON View.
  4. Remove all JSON-LD code from the editor.
  5. Click Validate & Save and confirm the deletion prompt.

Delete schemas using AI chat

AI-powered deletion uses natural-language prompts.

  1. Open Ask AI, Funnel AI, or Schema Markup AI.
  2. Enter a prompt like "Remove all schema markup from this page" or "Delete the Organization schema."
  3. AI reviews the existing schema and performs the deletion.
  4. A confirmation message appears with an option to view schema markup.

Recover deleted schema with version history

  1. Open the page in the builder.
  2. Open Version History from the toolbar.
  3. Restore a version that contains the schema you deleted.

Republish the page after any schema change so it goes live.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo schema deletion?
Not directly, but you can restore deleted schema through Version History by reverting to a saved version that still contains it.
Does deleting schema on one page affect other pages?
No. Schema deletion is page-specific. Other pages keep their existing schema markup.
What happens if I delete only part of the JSON?
Partial edits can cause validation errors. To fully remove a schema, delete the entire JSON-LD block for it.
Do I need to republish after deleting schema?
Yes. Changes appear in preview after saving but only go live once you publish the page.
Can AI delete multiple schemas at once?
Yes. AI handles individual or full deletions based on your prompt — for example, "Delete the Organization schema" or "Remove all schema markup."
