Set Granular WordPress Permissions in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Restrict WordPress access to specific team members from Agency or Sub-Account settings. Edit a user's roles and toggle the WordPress permission to control whether they see the WordPress tab.

WordPress now has its own permission flag, so you can decide which team members see the WordPress tab. Useful when you don't want every user touching site files, plugins, or hosting settings.

Why this matters

  • Tighter access control: grant WordPress to the people who actually manage sites.
  • Cleaner UI: users without permission don't see the WordPress tab, so the dashboard stays focused on what they do.
  • Audit-friendly: only authorized users can change WordPress settings.

How to set the permission

  1. Go to Agency Settings or Sub-Account Settings.
  2. Open the My Staff or Team tab.
  3. Click Edit next to the user you want to update.
  4. Under Roles and Permissions, toggle the WordPress option on or off.
  5. Save the user.

The change takes effect on the user's next login.
