How to Customize Payment Links with Brand Colors

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Customize Sparkforge payment link colors and styling either by selecting a Brand Board or building a custom theme. Saved themes apply to every existing and future payment link in the account.

Payment Link Customization styles your Sparkforge payment pages to match your brand. Use an existing Brand Board for one-click consistency, or pick custom background and button colors.

Why customize payment links

  • Brand-consistent colors and styling on every checkout
  • Live preview as you make changes
  • Mobile-responsive across devices
  • Single setting applies globally to every payment link

How to customize

  1. Open Payments → Settings → Payment Link Customization.
  2. Choose Use Brand Board or Choose Theme.
  3. If using a custom theme, set the background and button colors.
  4. If using a Brand Board, select one from the dropdown.
  5. Watch the Live Preview panel update.
  6. Click Save in the bottom right.
  7. Open any payment link to verify the new styling rendered correctly.

Brand Board integration

A Brand Board stores your brand's colors and styles in one place. When you tie payment links to a Brand Board, edits to the Brand Board propagate automatically to every payment link — no need to revisit the customization screen.

Global vs per-link theming

Theming is global. Every payment link in the account uses the same theme. If you need different looks for different products, use separate sub-accounts or run them through different brands.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Will existing payment links update after I save?
Yes. The selected theme applies globally to every current and future payment link in the account.
Can I theme each payment link differently?
No. Theming is account-global. Use sub-accounts or separate Brand Boards if you need different looks.
Do I have to use a Brand Board?
No. You can build a custom theme manually with the color picker. Brand Boards just make it faster.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes. All styling is responsive and renders correctly on phones, tablets, and desktop.
Can custom theming break payment processing?
No. Theming is purely visual. It doesn't affect the payment flow, security, or compliance.
