How to Create and Share Payment Links in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Payment Links let you sell a product without a website. Create the product first, then build the link from Payments > Payment Links > Create Link, configure options, and share the URL.

Payment Links sell a single product or service without a website. You build the checkout in a few clicks, then share the URL by email, SMS, or social.

Prerequisite: create the product first. Go to Payments > Products > Create Product. Product images automatically appear on the payment link checkout.

Create a payment link

  1. Go to Payments > Payment Links > Create Link.
  2. Name the link at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the product, then pick its price.
  4. Configure optional settings (redirects, custom fields, etc.) and click Save.
  5. Click Preview, copy the URL from your browser, and send it to the buyer.

Language and localization

Hosted checkout localizes field labels, buttons, validation, and error messages based on the Platform Language set in your Business Profile. Localized elements include:

  • Field labels
  • Buttons
  • Validation and error messages

Tip: change Platform Language in Business Profile to switch the default checkout language.

URL parameters

Pre-fill the buyer's information by appending parameters to the link:

  • firstName=
  • lastName=
  • email=
  • phone=

Auto-redirect after purchase with:

  • redirectIn= (countdown in seconds before redirect)
  • redirectUrl= (destination URL)

Example:

links.fastpayments.co/payment-link/asfkhwel93/firstName=Bob&lastName=Smith&email=bobsmith@gmail.com&phone=2155554545&redirectIn=8&redirectUrl=mysite.com/thank-you

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take manual payments like Bank Transfer through a payment link?
No. Single Payment Link checkout only supports automated providers like Stripe and PayPal. For manual methods, use an Invoice or Order Form instead.
Do I need a website to use payment links?
No. The link itself is the checkout. Share it directly with buyers and they pay on a hosted page.
Can I pre-fill the buyer's name and email?
Yes. Append firstName, lastName, email, and phone parameters to the payment link URL.
How do I redirect buyers to a thank-you page after payment?
Add redirectIn (seconds) and redirectUrl to the URL. The checkout shows a countdown and forwards the buyer to your destination.
Where do product images come from on the checkout page?
From the product itself. Any images saved on the product in Payments > Products automatically appear on the payment link checkout.
