By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge webinar funnels support live (scheduled) and on-demand (pre-recorded) webinars with prebuilt templates, registration forms, and automated reminder and follow-up workflows.

Sparkforge webinar funnels handle live and on-demand webinars from one place. Build with prebuilt templates, capture registrations through forms, and trigger reminder and follow-up workflows automatically.

Live vs on-demand

  • Live webinars: scheduled real-time sessions with a date and time
  • On-demand webinars: pre-recorded content for evergreen lead generation

Get started

  1. Log in to your Sparkforge account at app.sparkforge.com.
  2. Open Sites from the left sidebar.
  3. Click Webinars.
  4. Select New Webinar Funnel.
  5. Pick On Demand Webinar or Live Webinar.

Build a Live Webinar (4 steps)

Step 1: Webinar details

  • Webinar Name — e.g., "Digital Marketing Webinar"
  • Timezone — default America/New_York, change as needed
  • Date — future date
  • Time — e.g., 2:00 PM

Step 2: Select a form

Attendees register via forms from Sites → Forms. Pick an existing form or build a custom one with the fields you need. Submissions sync to the CRM and trigger reminder and follow-up workflows.

Step 3: Live webinar link

Add your streaming link. Examples:

  • Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/123456789
  • YouTube Live: https://youtube.com/watch?v=ABC123

Step 4: Templates

Pick a prebuilt funnel: Blank Live, E-Commerce Marketing Live, Financial Planning Live, DIY Home Remodel Live, and more.

Build an On-Demand Webinar (4 steps)

Step 1: Webinar details

Add the webinar name. No timezone, date, or time needed.

Step 2: Select a form

Same as live. Pick a form from Sites → Forms and customize the fields. Default example: "Marketing Form - Claim Offer."

Step 3: Select video

  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, and similar
  • Upload from your computer or pick from the media library
  • A video is required to proceed

Step 4: Templates

Same template library, optimized for on-demand viewing.

Automations and reminders

  • Pre-built recipe: every webinar funnel ships with a workflow recipe for reminders and follow-ups
  • Triggers: form submissions start the workflow
  • Reminders: schedule email and SMS reminders for live webinars (24 hours before, 1 hour before, 10 minutes before, etc.)
  • Follow-ups: thank-you emails, replay links, and nurture campaigns after the event
  • Customization: edit the workflow from the three-dot menu on the funnel

Pro tip: match reminder timing to your audience’s habits. B2B does well with morning sends, B2C often responds better to evenings.

General

  • Form not capturing leads — test CRM integration
  • Template not loading — refresh or recheck connection

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between live and on-demand webinars?
Live webinars run at a scheduled date and time with real-time interaction. On-demand webinars are pre-recorded and viewers access them anytime after registering.
Can I trigger workflows from a webinar registration?
Yes. Every webinar funnel includes a pre-built workflow recipe. Form submissions trigger reminders before the event and follow-up sequences after it ends.
What video formats does Sparkforge support for on-demand webinars?
MP4, MOV, AVI, and similar formats. Upload from your computer or pick from the media library. A video is required to publish the funnel.
How do I customize reminder timing?
Open the three-dot menu on the webinar funnel and edit the workflow recipe. Adjust reminder offsets (24 hours, 1 hour, 10 minutes) and add or remove steps as needed.
Can attendees access the recording after a live webinar?
Yes. Configure the post-webinar follow-up workflow to send a replay link in the thank-you email so registrants can watch on their own time.
