Connect Forms and Calendars in Sparkforge AI Studio

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Forms and calendars in Sparkforge AI Studio start as front-end layouts. Asking AI Studio to connect them wires forms into CRM tracking and ties booking sections to an existing calendar in your sub-account.

AI Studio in Sparkforge can draft form sections, lead-capture areas, and booking pages as part of the page experience. They become functional once you connect them to your sub-account.

Important: AI Studio runs through Labs. Turn it on for your sub-account before using these flows.

What you can build

  • Contact forms
  • Registration forms
  • Lead capture sections
  • Appointment booking pages
  • Consultation request pages

If your prompt is broad, AI Studio asks what type of form or booking you want before generating the layout.

How forms work

Forms in AI Studio start as front-end layouts. A form on the page does not mean the form is connected to your CRM. Submissions only flow into Sparkforge after you complete the connection step.

Connect a form

Ask AI Studio to connect the form (for example, Connect forms to my CRM) or click Connect when prompted in the chat. The Connect to CRM flow runs and the page picks up Sparkforge's external tracking behavior.

The flow:

  1. AI Studio builds the form on the page.
  2. You connect the form to CRM tracking.
  3. Submissions flow into Sparkforge.

Where submissions land

Submissions go into the connected sub-account, not the AI Studio project. View them in:

  • Contacts
  • Sites > Forms > Submissions > External Forms

Triggering workflows

Once a form is connected to CRM tracking, submissions can fire workflows:

  1. Build the form layout in AI Studio.
  2. Connect it to CRM tracking.
  3. In a workflow, use the External Tracking Event trigger.
  4. Use the Form submission event.
  5. Apply the Domain filter or External Form filter, then build out your actions.

How calendars work

AI Studio can generate a custom booking experience instead of dropping in a standard calendar widget. Ask for an appointment page, consultation page, or discovery call page and AI Studio drafts the layout with a booking area built in.

Connect a calendar

  1. Ask AI Studio to create a booking-focused page or scheduling section.
  2. When prompted in the chat, choose a calendar from your sub-account.
  3. Connect that calendar to the booking component.
  4. Preview and test the booking flow.

What happens after a calendar is connected

The calendar lives in the sub-account. AI Studio places it inside the page experience. Bookings made on the page write to the connected calendar, so:

  • Visitors book against the times configured in your sub-account.
  • Confirmations, reminders, and any automations attached to that calendar continue to run.
  • The booking experience uses the availability already set on the calendar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep editing the page after connecting a form or calendar?
Yes. The page stays editable in AI Studio after the component has been wired up. You can keep refining copy, layout, and styling.
Do I need to build a form in Sparkforge before using one in AI Studio?
No. AI Studio generates the front-end form from a prompt and walks you through the connection step when you're ready to start capturing submissions.
Do calendar reminders and automations still run from AI Studio bookings?
Yes. Bookings write to the connected calendar in your sub-account, so any confirmations, reminders, and automations tied to that calendar continue to run as configured.
Where do form submissions appear?
In Contacts and under Sites > Forms > Submissions > External Forms. Submissions don't stay in the AI Studio project.
Can workflows trigger from these forms?
Yes. Use the External Tracking Event trigger with the Form submission event, then apply Domain or External Form filters to scope the workflow.
