Advanced SEO Support in AI Studio: Pre-Render and Sitemaps

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Advanced SEO Support pre-renders AI Studio single-page apps so search engines, social platforms, and AI crawlers receive fully rendered HTML — plus sitemap and Open Graph tooling. Available on published projects with a custom domain.

AI Studio sites are usually Single-Page Applications (SPAs). They're fast for humans but often look like empty boxes to bots that don't run JavaScript. Advanced SEO Support solves that by serving supported bots a fully rendered HTML version of your page.

Note: AI Studio is available through Labs. Turn it on for your sub-account before using it.

What Advanced SEO Support does

Without it:

  • Google can take weeks to index content.
  • Social previews on Slack, X, and similar platforms look blank.
  • AI search like ChatGPT and Perplexity can't read the site to cite it.

With it, supported bots receive rendered HTML instead of an empty SPA shell. Visitors still get the same fast SPA experience.

It includes three tools:

  • Pre-render SEO for supported bots.
  • Social Media and Link Previews with proper Open Graph tags.
  • Generate Sitemap to help search engines discover important pages.

What you get

  • Rich social previews on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X, and others.
  • AI search visibility for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
  • Edge-level performance — pre-rendered pages served from Cloudflare edge in under 10ms.
  • Instant indexability — search engines get full HTML on first crawl.
  • Per-project control from the SEO settings panel.

Pre-render SEO

Pre-render SEO serves supported bots fully rendered HTML instead of the SPA shell.

Note: Pre-render SEO requires a published project with a connected custom domain.

When enabled, supported bots see page content, metadata, images, canonical tags, and structured data on the first request. This helps content surface in search results, link previews, and AI-powered experiences.

Operational details:

  • Automatic bot detection for supported search, social, and AI crawlers.
  • Graceful fallback — unsupported or uncached requests get the standard SPA.
  • Automatic cache refresh on every publish, domain change, or update. Up to 50 routes per site.
  • Edge serving from Cloudflare in under 10ms with no added latency for users.

How to enable Advanced SEO Support

  1. Open your AI Studio project.
  2. Click the project name dropdown in the top-left corner and select Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, open SEO.
  4. Confirm the project is published, a custom domain is connected, and that domain is set as primary.
  5. Click Enable to turn on Advanced SEO Support. The toggle goes purple when active.
  6. Re-publish so the latest rendered output is available to supported bots.

Social media and link previews

With Advanced SEO Support enabled, links shared on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, and Discord show the right title, description, and Open Graph image. Each page can serve its own preview details.

Use the Improve social preview content action:

  1. Open Settings → SEO.
  2. Find Improve social preview content and click Copy prompt.
  3. Paste the prompt into the AI Studio chat.
  4. Review the update summary, then publish.

To verify, share the live URL on a supported platform or run it through Facebook Sharing Debugger or Twitter Card Validator.

Generate sitemap

The Generate sitemap action creates sitemap support via a Copy prompt workflow. Rendered output refreshes automatically when the site is published, updated, or moved.

  1. Open Settings → SEO.
  2. Find Generate sitemap and click Copy prompt.
  3. Paste into AI Studio chat.
  4. Review the update summary, publish, and click Details to view the sitemap.
  5. Submit the sitemap to Google Search Console to speed up indexing.
