Can Sparkforge Websites Be Exported?

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

No. Sparkforge does not support exporting websites for use on another platform. You can copy rendered HTML from the browser, but it isn't editable in the Sparkforge builder and isn't supported.

Sparkforge websites are built on a proprietary page builder. There is no supported method for exporting a site to manage or edit it on another platform.

Can Sparkforge websites be exported?

No.

There is no 1:1 website export. Sparkforge does not provide a tool, file bundle, or migration path to another platform.

About copying rendered HTML

Technically, the rendered HTML of a published page can be copied and hosted elsewhere. When that's done:

  • The copied page is no longer managed by Sparkforge.
  • The page cannot be edited through the Sparkforge builder.
  • Sparkforge does not support externally hosted copies.
  • Continued functionality depends on the original Sparkforge site and assets staying active.

This is not a supported export.

How to copy page HTML (unsupported)

  1. Open the published page in your browser.
  2. Right-click and select View Page Source (or equivalent).
  3. Copy the HTML and save it as an .html file.

This captures the rendered output only — not the editable source.

What copied HTML is useful for

  • Referencing or recovering content.
  • Manually rebuilding the site on another platform.
  • Archival or record-keeping.

Sparkforge does not provide tools, guidance, or support for hosting or maintaining externally hosted HTML files.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I migrate a Sparkforge site to WordPress or Wix?
Not directly. You can copy rendered HTML for reference, but you'll need to rebuild the site on the new platform manually.
Will copied HTML keep working after I cancel my Sparkforge account?
Some assets may continue loading from Sparkforge servers, but functionality depends on the original site staying active. Plan for a full rebuild.
Why doesn't Sparkforge support full export?
The builder uses proprietary structures and dynamic content that don't translate cleanly to static files or other platforms.
What's the right move if I'm leaving Sparkforge?
Document content and structure, copy any rendered HTML you need for reference, and rebuild on the destination platform.
