How to Automate Badge Issuance in Sparkforge Workflows
Use the existing Issue Certificate workflow action and select a Badge template instead of a Certificate. Pair it with course, quiz, or form triggers to issue badges automatically.
Badges are a lightweight way to recognize milestones, progress, and engagement. Until a dedicated Issue Badge action ships, you can issue badges right now using the existing Issue Certificate workflow action — just select a Badge template instead of a Certificate template.
How it works
Pair any supported workflow trigger with the Issue Certificate action and pick a Badge template. The badge is sent as a downloadable image to the customer.
Common triggers and badge ideas
| Trigger | Badge example |
|---|---|
| Lesson Completed | Lesson 1 Complete |
| Category Completed | Module Master |
| Product Completed | Certified Pro |
| Quiz Submitted | Quiz Ace |
| Survey Submitted | Top Responder |
| Form Submitted | Quick Action Taker |
| Task Completed | Milestone Unlocked |
You'll find these triggers in the Workflow Trigger menu under Courses, Contact, and Form Activities.
