Auto-Save and Version History in Sparkforge Funnels and Sites

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge auto-saves your work in real time and keeps the last 50 versions. Open Version History from the clock icon to view, publish, or restore any prior version.

Sparkforge auto-saves edits across Funnels, Websites, Blogs, Webinars, and E-Commerce. You also get a Version History panel that lets you roll back to any prior save.

How auto-save works

Edits save in real time. You'll see Saving... and Auto Saved indicators while you work. The manual Save button stays available if you prefer to control timing yourself.

How Version History works

  • Time-stamped versions: every entry shows the date and time it was captured.
  • Cadence: a new auto-save lands every 10 minutes, but only when changes happen during that window.
  • Limit: up to 50 versions are stored per item (auto and manual combined). Oldest versions drop off once the limit hits.
  • Global Sections: editing a global section triggers a popup confirming the change applies everywhere that section is used.

Open and restore a previous version

  1. Click the clock icon in the upper-right corner of the editor to open Version History.
  2. Select a version from the list on the left to preview it.
  3. Restore or publish using the buttons in the top-right corner.

Where it works

Auto-Save and Version History are active in:

  • Funnels — every step, element, and section
  • Websites — every page and component
  • Blogs
  • Webinars
  • E-Commerce

Why it matters

Auto-save protects against tab closures and browser crashes. Version History gives you a safety net for design experiments and accidental deletes. Both run quietly in the background and are tuned for content-heavy pages.
