How to Use Audit Logs in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Audit Logs in Sparkforge record every key change across your account with user, module, action, and timestamp context. Logs are retained 60 days, support drawer-based review with keyboard navigation, and export to CSV.

Audit Logs are the source of truth for who did what and when in your Sparkforge account. The redesigned interface puts every change in a side drawer so you can review without losing your place in the table, and arrow keys move you through entries one at a time.

What Audit Logs capture

Every time-stamped entry includes the user, the module, the action type, and field-level before/after values. That covers user creation and edits, account changes, contact and opportunity changes, custom object updates, listings, and Page Builder asset deletions across Funnels, Websites, Stores, and Webinars.

Page Builder deletions log the asset name and ID for Section Templates, Global Sections, Universal Sections, Element Templates, and Universal Element Templates.

Where to find Audit Logs

  • Agency-wide activity: Agency → Settings → Audit Logs
  • Sub-Account activity: Sub-Account → Settings → Audit Logs

Each scope shows only its own events. For module-specific reviews like Funnels, Websites, Webinars, or Stores, open Audit Logs inside the relevant sub-account.

Drawer and keyboard review

  1. Click any row (or the eye icon) to open the side drawer with field-level changes, user, and timestamp.
  2. Press the left or right arrow key to step through entries while the drawer stays open.
  3. Close with the X icon or Esc to return to the same row in the table.

Filters that narrow results fast

  • User: show only one team member's actions.
  • Module: Users, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Websites/Funnels/Stores, Custom Objects, Listings.
  • Action Type: Create, Update, or Delete.
  • Time Range: today, last 7 days, up to 60 days.

Apply Date first, then Action and Module — it's the fastest path through long audit trails.

Exporting Audit Logs

Use the Export option at the top right to generate a CSV. Exports run asynchronously; track progress and download from the Exports tab.

Retention

Audit Log entries are kept for 60 days, then purged. Export anything you need for compliance or post-incident review inside that window.

Restoring deleted items

Filter Action = Deleted plus the Module (for example, Opportunity), then open an entry to access restore options where supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are Audit Logs retained?
60 days. Entries are purged after that, so export anything you need for compliance or evidence inside the 60-day window.
Who can access Audit Logs?
Agency Admins see Agency-level logs at Agency → Settings → Audit Logs. Account Admins see sub-account logs at Sub-Account → Settings → Audit Logs.
Can I export Audit Logs?
Yes. Use the Export option at the top right. Exports run in the background, and you can download the CSV from the Exports tab when ready.
What's the fastest way to review a long audit trail?
Filter by Date first, then Action and Module. Open the first row and use the left/right arrow keys to step through entries with the drawer open.
Why do timestamps look different across teammates?
Time zones differ by device and sub-account locale. Verify both before assuming a discrepancy is a real issue.
