Audit Logs Export (CSV Download) in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge Audit Logs Export lets authorized users download filtered audit history as CSV. Each export supports up to 500,000 records and stays available for 30 days. Audit Logs themselves are retained in-app for 60 days.

Audit Logs Export adds a CSV download to Sparkforge's Audit Logs experience. Authorized users can export filtered audit history for compliance reviews, investigations, and internal reporting. The feature is rolling out through Labs first, so some accounts need to enable it in Agency Settings before it appears.

Why Export Matters

  • Portable records: Pull audit history out of Sparkforge for storage, review, or external analysis.
  • Compliance and investigations: Keep durable evidence for security reviews and audit prep.
  • Background processing: Exports run async, so you can keep working while the file generates.
  • Controlled access: A dedicated Export audit logs permission gates who can pull the data.
  • Traceability: Export requests and downloads are themselves recorded in Audit Logs.

Permissions

Exported files may contain sensitive data, so access should follow least-privilege practices. Notes:

  • By default, Agency Owners, Agency Admins, and Account Admins can grant this access.
  • A user can view Audit Logs without being able to export them.
  • Grant export rights only to users who need the data for compliance, reporting, or investigations.

How to Manage Access

  • Agency: Settings > Team. Open the user profile to review roles and permissions.
  • Sub-Account: Settings > My Staff. Open the user profile to review roles and permissions.

The Exports Tab

The Exports tab is the central place to track export jobs. When the feature is enabled, the Audit Logs page shows two tabs:

  • The existing Audit Logs tab for viewing and filtering activity.
  • A new Exports tab for tracking export jobs.

Once an export finishes, eligible users can download the CSV from this tab. Export requests and downloads are also logged in the Audit Logs module.
