Ad Manager Audiences Tab in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Audiences tab in Sparkforge Ad Manager settings shows every custom and lookalike audience pulled in from your connected ad account. From here you create new audiences, edit names and descriptions, search, filter by type, and delete audiences when they are not tied to active campaigns.

The Audiences tab in Ad Manager settings is where you manage custom and lookalike audiences for your ad campaigns. Sparkforge pulls in audiences from connected Meta ad accounts and lets you create new ones without leaving the platform.

Where to Find the Audiences Tab

From the Ad Manager home page, click the settings icon. Ad Manager settings has four tabs: Integrations, Pages, Conversions, and Audiences. Click Audiences to see every custom and lookalike audience available, including ones already in Meta.

Create a New Audience

Two paths to create audiences:

  1. During campaign creation: create custom or lookalike audiences inline. See the dedicated articles for full steps on lookalike and custom audience creation.
  2. From the Audiences tab: click Create new audience, then pick Lookalike or Custom Audience. The matching flow opens, and the new audience appears in the list when it's done.

Other Actions on Existing Audiences

Search and filter

  • Use the Search for audience box to find one by name.
  • Use the type filter next to the search box to show All, Custom, or Lookalike audiences.

Edit name and description

  1. Click the ellipsis next to the audience.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update the name and description in the dialog, then save.

Delete an Audience

Click the ellipsis on the audience row and choose Delete. Sparkforge removes the audience from any draft and paused campaigns it's tied to.

Deletion guardrails:

  • If the audience is in any active campaign, the system blocks deletion. Pause the campaigns first, then delete.
  • If a custom audience was used to build a lookalike, you must remove the lookalike first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit on how many audiences I can create?

How often can I update audience criteria?
As often as needed. Frequent changes can affect targeting performance, so make adjustments based on actual results.
Can a deleted audience be recovered?
No. Once deleted, an audience cannot be restored. Confirm before deleting, especially if other audiences depend on it.
Can I use multiple audiences in one ad campaign?
Yes. Multiple audiences can be combined for more targeted reach. Monitor performance to see which combinations actually convert.
