How to Use Global Sections in the Sparkforge Page Builder

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Global Sections are reusable blocks shared across pages — update once, reflect everywhere. A new search field filters saved sections by name as you type.

Global Sections let you build a header, footer, gallery, or review block once and drop it onto any page or funnel step. Update the section, and every page using it picks up the change.

What Global Sections do

Saved sections live in Saved Sections > Global Sections inside the Page Builder. They stay in sync across every page that uses them — ideal for site-wide elements that should never drift.

Open Global Sections

  1. Open the Page Builder for a page or funnel step.
  2. Click Add Elements in the left sidebar.
  3. Select Saved Sections.
  4. Open Global Sections.

Search Global Sections

A search field at the top of the Global Sections panel filters saved sections in real time.

  • Search by full or partial section name.
  • Results update as you type.
  • Only Global Sections are searched — Local Sections are excluded.

When the search helps

If you keep dozens of headers, footers, and reusable blocks in one workspace, type part of the name to jump straight to it instead of scrolling.

What didn't change

  • Local Sections still work the same way.
  • Sync behavior across pages is unchanged.
  • Existing Global Sections show up in search automatically — no rebuild needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Global and Local Sections?
Local Sections live on a single page. Global Sections sync across every page that uses them, so one edit updates all instances.
Does the search work on Local Sections?
No. The search field only filters Global Sections. Local Sections are scoped to the current page.
If I edit a Global Section, do all pages update?
Yes. Updates to a Global Section reflect on every page using it once you publish.
Can I convert a Local Section into a Global Section?
Save the section, then promote it from Saved Sections — it becomes available globally for reuse.
