Knowledge Base in Sparkforge: Summary View and Tabbed Sources
Sparkforge refreshed the Knowledge Base UI with a Summary view, tabbed data sources, and a centralized federated component. Content, permissions, and AI behavior are unchanged.
The Knowledge Base UI in Sparkforge has been refreshed for clearer navigation and a consistent experience across products. The update adds a Summary view, tabbed data sources, and a federated component that appears wherever the Knowledge Base is used.
What Changed
Summary View
Each Knowledge Base now opens with a Summary view. It shows connected sources and overall structure at a glance so admins and editors can see the current state without drilling in.
Tabbed Data Sources
Data sources are organized into individual tabs. Each tab represents one source type and shows the number of connected items plus actions to add or manage sources. New source types appear as additional tabs as they ship.
Federated Component
The Knowledge Base now uses a shared component across multiple products. Layout, navigation, and management are identical wherever it appears.
Where to Find It
Go to AI Agents → Knowledge Base. The landing page lists every Knowledge Base. Open one to see the Summary tab and the source tabs.

Who Sees Management Controls
- Admins manage Knowledge Bases and data sources.
- Editors curate and maintain content.
- Viewer-only users can read content but do not see management controls.

Rollout
The refreshed UI is rolling out progressively. If you do not see the Summary view or tabbed sources yet, they will appear automatically. No action is required.
