Managing Folders in Sparkforge Agent Studio

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Folder Management in Agent Studio groups AI agents into parent-level folders with bulk move and delete, draft/published status labels, and server-side pagination so large agent libraries stay organized.

Folder Management adds a folder layer to the Agent Studio list page so you can group AI agents by team, client, project, or status. Combined with bulk actions, status labels, and pagination, folders keep large workspaces fast and organized.

What folders give you

  • Visual structure: separate experiments from live builds or sort by team, client, or project.
  • Faster housekeeping: one-click bulk actions cut repetitive work.
  • Status at a glance: Draft and Published labels remove guesswork.
  • High-volume performance: server-side pagination and adjustable row counts keep lists snappy.
  • Customizable views: choose Folders-first or Agents-first grouping and sort by name, last updated, or created date.
  • Safer deletes: confirmation dialogs guard against accidental removal.

Folder organization and bulk actions

Create as many parent-level folders as you need. Drag or bulk-move agents between them. Renaming or deleting a folder leaves the agents intact.

Select multiple agents or folders to run:

  • Bulk Delete: permanently remove the selected items.
  • Bulk Move: relocate many agents into another folder in one step.
  • Bulk Delete Folders: clear unused groups (agents inside remain until deleted separately).

All bulk actions honor user permissions and show a confirmation with the exact count affected.

Create a folder

  1. Click New Folder in the top-right of Agent Studio.
  2. Enter a clear name in the Folder Name field.
  3. (Optional) Open Associated Agents and select ungrouped agents to include.
  4. Click Save. Selected agents move into the folder immediately.

Sort, group, and search

  • Use Sort by to toggle Agent First or Folder First and sort by name, last updated, or created date.
  • Use the Search bar to filter agents by name. Results update instantly.
  • Use the Rows per page dropdown to display 10, 25, 50, or 100 rows.

Use bulk actions

  1. Tick the checkboxes next to the agents you want to act on. The selected count appears at the top.
  2. Open the Bulk Actions dropdown.
  3. Choose Move to Folder or Delete.
  4. Confirm the destination or deletion in the modal.

Per-row actions

Click the three-dot menu on any agent to edit details, move to a folder, or delete. On a folder row, the three-dot menu lets you edit folder details or delete the folder itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will deleting a folder delete the agents inside it?
No. Agents move to Unfiled and stay accessible until you delete them separately.
Can folders be nested?
The first release supports one folder level. Nested folders are planned for a future update.
Do bulk actions respect user roles?
Yes. Only users with delete or move rights see those actions, the same way Workflow bulk actions behave.
Why does an agent show Draft after I published it?
Publishing creates a live version. If you edit afterward without republishing, the working copy shows Draft until you publish again.
What happens if two users move the same agent at once?
The last saved change wins. You'll receive a conflict notice if your view is outdated.
