How to Use the LinkedIn Lead Form Submitted Trigger in Sparkforge
The LinkedIn Lead Form Submitted trigger enrolls a contact into a Sparkforge workflow as soon as they submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen form. Filter by Page or custom fields to scope which submissions enter automation.
Capture LinkedIn Lead Gen submissions in real time and route them into Sparkforge workflows for instant follow-up, owner assignment, opportunity creation, and nurture.
What the trigger does
It enrolls a contact into a workflow the moment they submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen form connected to your Sparkforge account. Use filters to scope by Page or by mapped custom fields.

- Routing: filter by Page or mapped fields to assign the right rep or pipeline.
- Clean data: rely on field mapping and dedup to keep one contact record per person.
- Hands-off follow-up: kick off nurture, tasks, and opportunity creation without manual work.
- Reporting: consistent source tracking makes campaign measurement straightforward.
Prerequisites
- LinkedIn Lead Ads integration connected under Settings → Integrations with access to the right Page and Ad Account.
- At least one published LinkedIn Lead Gen form on the Page.
- Field mapping planned (Email, Phone, Company, Job Title, plus any qualifier custom fields).
Filter logic and best practices
- Multiple filters use AND logic.
- Start broad (
Page Is Your Page), then add qualifiers once leads are flowing. - Avoid heavy filtering at launch.
- One workflow per Page beats one workflow with many conditions.
Recommended workflow settings
- Allow Re-entry: on during testing or for campaigns where leads may resubmit.
- Stop on Response: optional, useful for pausing nurture when a lead replies.
- Execution Logs: confirm each lead's path after submission.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to set the Page filter?
No. Filters are optional, but using Page keeps enrollments scoped to a specific LinkedIn Page.
Can I filter by the exact LinkedIn Lead Gen form?
If your mapping exposes a form identifier or you store form name in a custom field, you can filter on that. Otherwise, scope by Page and use post-trigger conditions.
How are duplicates handled?
Sparkforge matches on email or phone. If a match exists, the existing contact updates; if not, a new contact is created.
Will resubmissions trigger the workflow again?
Only if Allow Re-entry is enabled. Turn it on for testing or for campaigns where leads may submit more than once.
How fast do leads appear in Sparkforge?
Usually within seconds of submission. Allow a brief delay during testing and confirm via Execution Logs.
