How to Set Up the Social Planner in Sparkforge

The Social Planner schedules and manages posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the rest from one Sparkforge calendar. You can preview the workflows before connecting any accounts — useful for prepping content while waiting on access.

What you can do without connecting accounts

From Marketing → Social Planner, these workflows are available before you connect a single account:

• Schedule a post — click Schedule Now to open the composer and review scheduling options.
• Bulk schedule with CSV — click Upload A CSV to import posts in bulk and validate the file before scheduling.
• Evergreen Queue — click Create Evergreen Post to organize reusable posts in a queue.
• Recurring Post — click Create Recurring Post to set posts that repeat on a schedule.
• RSS-to-social — click Create RSS Post to add an RSS feed and turn new items into auto-posts.

Connect a social account

Posting requires connecting at least one account. Facebook is shown as the example below.

1. Click the button for the platform you want to connect.
2. Log in to that platform (Facebook in this example).
3. Pick at least one Page to manage.
4. Verify the connection.

Schedule a post from a template

1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner → New Post → Social Planner Templates.
2. Search, browse, or filter the templates.
3. Preview a template and click Continue.
4. Click Select Socials (the plus icon on the right).
5. Fill in the Schedule Post modal: account, timing, content tweaks.
6. Click Schedule Posts.

Create a custom post

1. In Marketing → Social Planner, click New Post → Create New Post.
2. Enter post details, pick the social account, and add content.
3. Choose: save for later, post now, schedule, send for approval, or schedule as recurring.

Add media and edit thumbnails

Add images or videos from the Media Library using the video and image icons in the panel. Preview media in the composer on the left side. You can replace or edit a file and keep its position in the post's media sequence — swap files without rearranging the layout.

Edit a video thumbnail

1. Hover over the media to reveal edit options.
2. Click the pencil icon on the video thumbnail.
3. Click the Custom Thumbnail tab to upload an image.

Custom video thumbnails are supported for:

• Facebook Pages
• Instagram Business accounts
• LinkedIn Profiles and Pages
• YouTube videos and Shorts

Connect more accounts

1. Click Settings (gear icon).
2. Pick additional platforms to connect.
3. Click Connect Social and follow the prompts.
