Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Accepted and Delivered?
Accepted means the recipient's mail server acknowledged receipt of the message. Delivered means it landed in an inbox or folder. A message can be accepted but later bounce, in which case it never counts as delivered.
Why would I track soft bounces separately from hard bounces?
Soft bounces are temporary (full mailbox, server outage) and may resolve on retry. Hard bounces are permanent (invalid address) and the contact should be flagged. Tracking them separately tells you which is a list-quality problem versus a transient delivery issue.
How does the Emails By Domain widget help?
It shows volume and engagement broken out by recipient email domain. If Gmail engagement crashes while Outlook holds steady, you've isolated a Gmail-specific deliverability problem.
Can I filter widgets by campaign or workflow?
Filtering depends on the dashboard configuration. Most email widgets support date-range filtering and can be combined with other widgets to show campaign-level breakdowns.
