Clone Agent Studio AI Agents with Snapshots
Account Snapshots package Agent Studio agents - flow, nodes, knowledge bases, and version state - so you can deploy them into other sub-accounts in minutes instead of rebuilding by hand.
Account Snapshots let you package Agent Studio AI agents and load them into other sub-accounts. Build the agent once, ship it everywhere - keeping flow structure, node configs, knowledge bases, and version state intact.
What snapshots include for Agent Studio
- Agent flow structure
- Node configurations
- Connected knowledge bases (when selected)
- Version state (Draft, Staging, Production)
- Associated supporting assets you choose
Snapshots do not include contacts, conversation history, messages, or live data. Only configuration moves.
Create a snapshot
Step 1: Open Account Snapshots
- Switch to Agency View.
- Go to Account Snapshots.
- Click Create New Snapshot.
Step 2: Name and select source
- Enter a snapshot name.
- Pick the sub-account that contains the agent.
- Click Next.
Step 3: Pick Agent Studio assets
- Expand the Agent Studio category.
- Select the agent(s) to include.
- Select supporting assets - knowledge bases, workflows, custom values - the agent depends on.
- Click Create.
If the agent uses a knowledge base, you must select that knowledge base in this step. Skip it and the agent loads without its reference material.
Step 4: Review
The snapshot details screen confirms included agents, knowledge bases, and total asset count.
Load a snapshot into a sub-account
Single sub-account
- Go to Agency View -> Sub-Accounts.
- Click the three-dot menu on the account, choose Manage Client.
- Choose Actions -> Load Snapshot.
- Select the snapshot, the Agent Studio category (or Select All), and confirm.
Multiple sub-accounts
- Go to Account Snapshots and open the snapshot.
- Click Push Snapshot.
- Select the target sub-accounts and the assets.
- Proceed through the conflict check.
Conflict resolution
If an asset of the same name exists in the target account, Sparkforge prompts to keep both, overwrite, or proceed through the conflict check. Review before finalizing.
Snapshot versioning
When you update an agent in the source account, return to Account Snapshots, select the snapshot, and click Refresh. This creates a new version. Push the updated version to sub-accounts to roll out the change.
Share or sell snapshots
- Go to Account Snapshots.
- Click the three-dot menu on the snapshot.
- Choose Share Snapshot.
- Generate a share link or list it on the Marketplace.
Recipients can load the snapshot into their own Sparkforge accounts. Marketplace monetization has its own plan requirements.
Permissions
- Create Snapshots: required to package agents.
- Share/Import Snapshots: required to load or share.
Both are managed by an admin in user permissions.
