Client Portal Branded Mobile App Setup Guide for Agencies

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

To resell the Branded Client Portal mobile app, connect your agency Stripe account, set agency-wide or per-client pricing under Reselling, and deploy from the sub-account list. Sparkforge bills you $79/month per location; you bill your client whatever you set.

The Branded Client Portal mobile app is a reseller product. You set the price your sub-accounts pay, Sparkforge bills you, and you keep the margin. This guide covers Stripe setup, pricing, deployment, and the client experience.

Prerequisite: connect agency Stripe

Your agency Stripe account collects subscription payments from sub-accounts. Connect it from the agency dashboard before turning on auto-reselling.

You can also deploy the Branded Client Portal app to a sub-account without Stripe — that path skips the auto-resell flow and is covered below.

Set agency-wide pricing

Open Agency → Reselling and configure the price every sub-account sees by default.

Override pricing for a specific client

  1. Go to Sub-Account List, find the client, click the three-dot menu, and choose Manage Client.
  2. Scroll to Reselling, change the Branded Client Portal Mobile App price, and save.

Disable the offer for a specific client

  1. Same path: Sub-Account List → Manage Client → Reselling.
  2. Toggle Branded Client Portal Mobile App off and save.

You can only disable the offer before the client buys. Once a sub-account has purchased, it can’t be turned off from this screen.

Deploy without Stripe

If you don’t have an agency Stripe account, you can still push the Branded Client Portal app to a sub-account directly.

  1. Go to Sub-Account List → Manage Client → Reselling.
  2. Under Branded Client Portal Mobile App, accept the direct-deploy terms.
  3. Click Pay Now.

The Branded Client Portal section won’t show up in the sub-account’s settings until this manual deployment runs. A direct deploy creates the subscription between your agency and Sparkforge but not between the sub-account and your agency.

Check what you’re paying Sparkforge

  1. Go to Agency Settings → Billing → Subscription.
  2. Open Reselling Branded Client Portal Mobile App to see the per-month total and the number of active subscriptions.
  3. Click Show sub-accounts for the full list.

Client-side experience

Sub-accounts find the offer at Sites → Client Portal → Settings → Branded Mobile App. They submit payment details, confirm, and the system creates the subscription, processes the first charge, and drops them on the app dashboard.

Billing flow

  • Subscription 1: client’s card → your Stripe account.
  • Subscription 2: your Stripe account → Sparkforge, $79/month per location.

Subscription warnings and recovery

If a sub-account’s subscription pauses or cancels, the app shows an inactive-subscription screen so the operator and their customers see the impact immediately. A Resubscribe button restores billing without leaving the screen.

Onboarding call for agencies

Agency admins can book a setup call with the Customer Success team from the Branded Client Portal page. The booking link is admin-visible only.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Branded Client Portal mobile app cost the agency?
$79/month per sub-account location. You set whatever resale price you want on top of that.
Can I disable the offer after a client has already bought?
No. The disable toggle only works before purchase. After a sub-account has subscribed, you can’t hide the offer from the Manage Client screen.
Do I need Stripe to deploy the Branded Client Portal app?
Not strictly. Stripe is required for auto-reselling, but you can direct-deploy to a sub-account without it. You’ll still owe Sparkforge $79/month per deployed location.
How do I see which sub-accounts are on the Branded Client Portal app?
Agency Settings → Billing → Subscription → Reselling Branded Client Portal Mobile App → Show sub-accounts.
What happens when a client’s subscription lapses?
The app shows an inactive-subscription screen to the client and their customers, with a Resubscribe button. The branded app stops serving until billing resumes.
