Map any Agent Studio agent to Ask AI so the in-app assistant can route requests, run multi-step workflows, and return results in the same chat thread. Requires the AI Employee plan.

Ask AI plus Agent Studio links Sparkforge's in-app assistant with any agent you build in Agent Studio. Describe each agent's capabilities, map it to Ask AI, and the assistant routes user requests to the right agent automatically — no command syntax for users to learn.

What this enables

  • Unified chat plus workflow: trigger automations without leaving the Ask AI window.
  • Intelligent routing: Ask AI evaluates each user prompt against your agent descriptions.
  • Dynamic data: ask users for missing inputs at runtime or pre-fill values.
  • Multi-step execution: chain emails, ads, lookups, image generation, and API calls in one agent.

Variable configuration

For any input variable defined in Agent Studio, choose how Ask AI handles it:

  • Fixed default: set a static value for every run.
  • Ask at runtime: Ask AI prompts the user to supply the value before execution.

Variables support text, numbers, choices, and the rest of Agent Studio's variable types.

Agent Studio building blocks

  • Tool Nodes: Web Search, MCP, API, Knowledge Base.
  • Generative Nodes: LLM prompts for copy, summaries, or images.
  • Capture Nodes: structured user inputs (text or choice) for downstream steps.

How to set up the integration

  1. Build or open an agent in AI Agents → Agent Studio.
  2. Confirm nodes, variables, and lifecycle stage. Move the agent to Production.
  3. Go to Settings → Ask AI → Agent Mapping (or open Ask AI and click Manage Agents).
  4. Click Map Agent and complete the three steps:
    • Step 1 — Select Agent: location and specific agent.
    • Step 2 — Configure Integration: agent name, description, and capabilities.
    • Step 3 — Variable Mapping: name and value for each variable (system custom value, fixed default, or Ask User At Runtime).
  5. Save. Test in Ask AI by typing a relevant request, for example: Create ad copy for Jane Doe.
  6. Verify the chat shows: Running [Agent Name]… followed by the agent's results.
